Judging Process
Judges are selected from across the ICA membership, ICA subject matter experts and the wider compliance community. They dedicate valuable time to review hundreds of entries against strict criteria using a transparent scoring system designed to recognise and reward excellence.
This rigorous process ensures every winner is selected fairly, transparently, and based on the true impact of their work.
Entries will be reviewed against the following criteria:
- Spirit (required, 400 words) - Provide the context for your entry, including the challenges, opportunities, objectives and environment in which the individual, team, organisation, partnership or initiative has operated.
- Approach (required, 400 words) - Explain how excellence was demonstrated, highlighting the actions taken, expertise applied, innovation shown and the approach used to achieve results.
- Outcome (required, 400 words) - Demonstrate the impact achieved, including measurable results, value delivered and benefits for stakeholders such as the organisation, clients, customers, employees, regulators or the wider profession.
- Validation (optional, 100 words plus supporting documents) - Provide independent evidence to support your entry, such as testimonials, performance metrics, audit findings, benchmarking data, external recognition or other evidence of success.
