Compliance Advisory Firm of the Year 

This award recognises an advisory firm that has delivered exceptional compliance, financial crime, regulatory, governance or risk advisory support to help clients navigate complex business and compliance challenges.  

Judges will look for evidence of technical excellence, trusted client relationships, innovative thinking and measurable outcomes, alongside a commitment to advancing standards across the compliance profession. 

Eligibility

  • Open to advisory firms, including consultancy firms, law firms and specialist advisory practices, providing compliance, financial crime, governance, regulatory or risk advisory services to regulated businesses. 
  • Submissions should focus on a specific client engagement, partnership, implementation or programme of work that demonstrates the value delivered by the technology provider. 
  • Entries must reflect work delivered within the last 12-18 months. 
  • Services or solutions must be delivered to organisations operating within Europe. 

Criteria

  • Your submission needs to respond to the 3 criteria sections: Spirit, Approach and Outcome.
  • You will be awarded a maximum of 10 points per section (30 points in total).
  • Questions are suggested in each criteria section. These are prompts to help you think about the evidence that will help judges to best assess your entry. You do not need to address all questions, please use them as a guide.
  • The 4th criteria section Validation is optional and is your opportunity to provide supporting documents to further demonstrate to judges why your submission should win. You can submit up to 3 supporting documents.  

 

Spirit: Introduce your firm and the client challenge addressed 

You may wish to include:

  • Your firm's area of expertise and specialism 
  • The client's regulatory, governance or operational challenge 
  • The regulatory or market environment that influenced the engagement 
  • Why specialist support was required 
  • The objectives and desired outcomes of the engagement  

 

Approach: Demonstrate how your firm delivered exceptional support and expertise

You may wish to include examples of:

  • Regulatory, governance or compliance expertise provided 
  • Strategic advice or transformation support delivered 
  • Stakeholder engagement and collaboration 
  • Innovative methodologies, frameworks or approaches 
  • How solutions were tailored to client needs 
  • Leadership shown in responding to evolving regulatory requirements 
  • Examples of going above and beyond to support client success 

 

Outcome: Demonstrate the value delivered through the engagement

Evidence may include:

  • Improvements in compliance effectiveness or governance 
  • Successful delivery of regulatory change or remediation programmes 
  • Enhanced risk management or regulatory readiness 
  • Positive client feedback and satisfaction 
  • Measurable business or operational benefits 
  • Long-term value created for the client 
  • Sustainable improvements resulting from the engagement

 

Validation (Optional): Support your entry with any further information to show the judges why you should win

Examples include:

  • Short testimonials (100 words max each) from 1–3 client-side stakeholders 
  • A summary of client feedback or satisfaction metrics 
  • Quotes from post-project reviews or performance evaluations 
  • Any public recognition or awards received in relation to the case study 
  • You may submit up to three supporting documents for this section.
